This Anchor Hocking 1.5 gallon Montana jar is beautiful. Flawless, thick glass and a tight fitting lid makes this the perfect container for everything from sugar to ribbon or anything else you need beautiful storage for! Also would make a great seasonal decoration for the table or mantle by placing decorative items inside the jar. Amazon had the lowest price I found after much searching...makes it even better!

I bought the Anchor glass canisters in all 3 available sizes....I absolutly love them! They are very large in comparison to other traditional canisters but I like that they hold alot. I store coffee, sugar and flour in them. I especially like the wide mouth opening because it makes for easier acess to putting in measuring cups without spilling. They are very well made, solid and the lids have a nice seal (to keep things fresh) I plan on keeping these a life time...they were well worth the cost and look high end. I highly recommend these!

I absolutely love these! They are very heavy duty with a solidly fitting lids. They are also very clean and classic looking, I keep them right out on the counter filled with rice, sugar, and the three kinds of flour that I use most often.....in fact, I'm thinking that I may need a few more for oatmeal and cornmeal, and whatever else I can think of.......I am very pleased with this purchase.
