I bought this to store nut milk, homemade kefir, and stock. When I close the lid, it didn't have that effect that there was a secure seal (you can hear a suctioning sound) and when I open the lid, it doesn't have the popping sound that it should have (meaning it's not airtight). Also, I went to shake the container my liquid leaked out. I've used other brands of jars and this is not normal.
